Pre-Baptismal Classes

This pre-baptismal class is designed ONLY for parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe and for those who will celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism at our parish.

If the baptism will take place at a different parish, you must attend the pre-baptismal class at that specific parish or a location they recommend.

INTRODUCTION

Dear Family, this class is based on the Reborn series produced by the Augustine Institute. (www.augustineinstitute.org)

To complete the class, please watch the Reborn videos (Step # 2) explaining the different facets of the Sacrament of Baptism. These videos are available on www.Formed.org—a Catholic platform similar to Netflix.

After watching all three videos, you are required to:

Answer the questions listed in Step #3 at the bottom of this page.

Esta clase prebautismal está diseñada ÚNICAMENTE para los feligreses de Our Lady of Guadalupe y para aquellos que celebrarán el Sacramento del Bautismo en nuestra parroquia.

Si el bautismo se llevará a cabo en otra parroquia, debe asistir a la clase prebautismal en esa parroquia específica o en el lugar que ellos le recomienden.

Estimada familia, esta clase se basa en la serie Reborn (Renacer), producida por el Augustine Institute. (www.augustineinstitute.org)

Para completar la clase, por favor vea los videos en Renacer (Step # 2) que explican las diferentes facetas del Sacramento del Bautismo. Estos videos están disponibles en www.Formed.org, una plataforma católica similar a Netflix.

Después de ver los tres videos, es necesario que Responda a las preguntas que se encuentran en el Paso #3 al final de esta página.

STEP # 2: TAKE THE CLASS

The Prebaptismal classes consiste in watching 3 videos in FORMED. We use the series REBORN. After you have completed watching them, COME BACK TO THIS PAGE and complete the questions in the Step # 3.

There is NO NEED to PURCHASE THE STUDY GUIDE offered by FORMED, in order to save money you just need to complete the following questionnaire on Step # 3.

PASO # 2: TOME LA CLASE

Las clases prebautismales consisten en ver 3 videos en FORMED. Utilizamos la serie REBORN. Una vez que los haya visto, REGRESE A ESTA PÁGINA y complete las preguntas que se encuentran en el Paso # 3.

Estos son los videos que los padres y padrinos deben ver:

3) SOLO para PADRES: La misión de amar: 7 claves para la crianza católica (el video # 3 solo esta en ingles)

4) SOLO para PADRINOS: Los dones de los padrinos: Más que tarjetas y regalos. (este video # 4 solo esta en ingles)

No han necesidad de que COMPRE LA GUIA DE ESTUDIO ofrecida por FORMED, para poder ahorrarles dinero uds. solo tiene que completar el siguiente Cuestionario en el Paso # 3.

Por favor complete las siguientes Preguntas luego de haber visto los 3 capitulos de la Serie Renacer – Por favor las respuestas deben ser originales y personales, no pueden ser copiadas de otras personas.
