Baptism Dress Code

For Candidates

Gentlemen/Kids

  1. Baptism White Gown (we will provide you with one)

2. White long-sleeve shirt /Camisa Blanca de mangas largas

3.Black Pants / Pantalón azul o negro

4. A nice Tie / Una Corbata linda (Preferable White, Blue or Red)

5. Dark dress shoes (no sneakers)/ Zapatos Oscuros (no tennis)

6. Please remember that the Priest will sign your forehead with Holy Oil… please keep your forehead free of hair.

7. Use of a White Facial Mask during our Easter Vigil Mass is Optional. El uso de mascaras faciales de color Blanca durante la Misa de Pascua es Opcional

Ladies/Girls

1. Baptism White Gown (we will provide you with one) NO First Communion Dress is needed, but it is optional

2.Formal dress / Vestido de salir formal

3. Formal shoes (no sneakers)/Zapatos de vestir (No tenis)

4.Simple Hairstyle in a pony tail/ Peinado Sencillo al estilo de una cola de caballo

5. Please remember that Priest will sign your forehead with Holy Oil… please use a simple hairstyle and keep free your forehead.

6. DO NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS… PLEASE. PLEASE / por favor NO USEN TACONES ALTOS…

The following Dress Code is for the RCIA Candidates that will receive the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation & Communion at the Easter Vigil

For parents and Sponsors

Women and girls

•Should wear dresses or skirts that cover the knee completely when sitting or standing.

•Women and girls can wear pants and a blouse if they prefer.

•Since it is a First Communion, a white color dress would be more appropriate

Men and boys

•Should wear a suit coat and tie.

Do not, please were

•Lacks, shorts, sleeveless, tight or low-cut clothing, or dresses with long cuts or slits are to be avoided.

•Jeans or short sports pants.

•Tennis
