2024-2025 Catechetical Report

Dear Catechists

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each one of you for the great job you have done throughout this catechetical year 2023-2024. Especially I want to thank our priests, Fr. Israel, Fr. Alex, Fr. Antonio, Fr. Jaime, Deacons Charlie, Manuel, Vicente, Alvardo & Billy and Almost Deacon Cristhian, for their support, trust and for their prayer for us.

We are continuously blessed by our God, but sometimes we run so much that we missed the deepness of His blessings, that is why if we see the year in numbers, we can grasp a bit more the tons of blessing we received from the Lord.

• We have been blessed by teaching the Word of God to:
  1. 1175 students in the CCD & RCIA Young Adult program
  2. 101 students were adults in the RCIA Adult program
  3. 60 students unfortunately dropped from the program
  4. A total of 1336 (1324 in 223-2024) students
• Among all these students:
  1. 494 (482 in 2023-2024)received the Holy First Communion this year
  2. 316 (298 in 2023-2024) received the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation.
  3. 30 (30 in 2023-2024) received the Holy Baptism on Easter Night
• We have also the blessing that more than 4000 students and relatives consecrated their souls to the Hearts of Mary and Jesus.
• And …. For the next year… we have already 964 students enrolled and more than 38 adults, 4 kids in special Education and around 12 new candidates for baptism

So, thank you…. For all you do for the salvation of all souls.
