The ADOM COVID protocol used at Our Lady of Guadalupe CCD-RCIA Programs is modeled on CDC guidance and will be revised as needed consistent with any additional guidance from the CDC or FL Department of Health.
MASK USAGE OPTIONAL
In schools, parish offices, and churches of the Archdiocese, MASKS ARE with the exception of those completing EXPOSURE or ISOLATION PROTOCOLS when a well-fitting mask is required for 5 days following the return to school. Mask usage is encouraged especially for those not vaccinated or immunocompromised, but remains the choice of the individual regardless of vaccination status
ADOM ISOLATION PROTOCOL summary
TESTED POSITIVE AND/OR SYMPTOMATIC MINIMUM five (5) full days of ISOLATION required Clearance to leave isolation only when all symptoms resolve More than 5 days of isolation if needed Restoration of loss of taste/smell not required to leave isolation NO TESTING to return to school/work Return to school/work but wear well-fitting mask for 5 days, Children, Teens, and Adults.
ANY STUDENT WITH A POSITIVE DIAGNOSIS OF COVID
- Any student with a positive diagnosis of COVID should isolate at home and contact the parish DRE @ Miguel.ruiz@guadalupedoral.org; the student must remain isolated at home for a minimum of 5 days from onset of symptoms or date of positive COVID test, or longer if needed for the resolution of symptoms.
- If directions have been given by the public school, the directions should be followed. Once a minimum of 5 days of isolation has passed and symptoms have resolved, no further testing is needed to return to religious education classes.
- Contact the DRE @ Miguel.ruiz@guadalupedoral.org with questions about returning to religious education.
- NO PCR is required to be available to come back to classes in person (after the 5 days)
